I stopped wearing watches years ago when it occurred to me that rocking a perma-farmers’ tan on my left wrist might hurt my chances with the ladies. Now that I’m a little older, a little wiser and have more pressing preoccupations than “the ladies,” I’m reconsdering a comeback of this accessory. And Mr. Jones is helping.
"The Average Day" (limited edition)
Isn’t she a beaut? I thought it was cute how the “travel” section is placed not once but twice; it suits my travel bug of as late. But it’s the “sleep” section, how it occupies two-thirds of the face, that really won me over. The black and baby blue (my favorite color) trims don’t hurt either.
Extra points for its packaging, too.
However, this watch is probably a much more practical choice for me.

The secondhand alternatively ticks to a “yes” and a “no,” which makes a fine replacement for the coin-flipping habit I have (and have often) in decision making times.
The red and black would be for the day. And this for night.

This is my favorite day and time of the week: Friday after work with an entire weekend on the horizon. This time last week was pretty awesome, too.
That was a really exceptional 4th of July weekend.
