These guys made...

...me!

They made me eat dim sum in the park for dinner today. They pretty much made my day.
Try With All My Might Monday, April 27, 2009
I can’t help my heartstrings from being pulled.

a text message from my mom last night
The new moon is my favorite. It’s my mom’s, too. It’s nice to know we still think nicely of each other when we’re not each other’s favorites.
Redefining Love: A Tribute to Janet Tuesday, April 21, 2009
I’m falling back on my roots again. Ahem, Janet. She, along with my other friends, are a good part of why I’m solid. They’re my support system, much like beams propping me up when I’m not especially beaming on my own.

It’s nice to just be and to be understood. It’s also bonus to laugh. And to laugh (or to make me laugh) at JoAnn’s on a Saturday at 10′ish AM , that’s pretty remarkable.
But that’s the magic she can bring. Love you, Buddy.

I can’t sleep because my feet are frozen. Wish I could warm them up by dancing.
More specifically, dancing with Janet.

To what is our latest song to go silly over:

Like we did tonight over crawfish carnage.

Godsent Saturday, April 11, 2009

That’s what my godson is. Or that’s what his hugs and kisses are. They single-handedly brought me back to life last night. I owe you, B.

And then there are my Js. John pulled out all the stops with his special ramen using homemade broth he spent 8+ hours making the night before topped with chunks of fresh crab, jumbo shrimp, chicken and a fried egg. Janet threw in the champers.
There really is no place like home. <3
Best thing to surface from my email box today Wednesday, April 8, 2009
A someecard always does the trick, especially on a day where I’m flooded with work emails.

from my Twittery brother
Remember: Smile Wednesday, February 11, 2009
My dad used to play this song on the guitar and sing it. He would dedicate it to my brother when he was upset. (My brother was a little hormonal during our teenage years.) It came on the radio just now and remembering that gave me comfort. That and the message. Must remember this always.
