Man.  It really was an amazing time. Saturday especially.

We...

We...

On our way...

...made our way...

…to the top the top of the mountain.
cant help but stare

I stood there staring out for a good period of time.

Yknow what I mean?

How could you not?

When we werent doing this...

When we weren't doing this...

...or this...

...or this...

...there was a lot of this.

...there was a lot of this.

Nothing but good times throughout.

All in all, it was a weekend full of nothing but good times with good people.

You have no idea how ridiculously blissed out I still am from this past weekend’s Mammoth excursion. Saturday was one of the best days of my life.  And that is an understatement.

My new favorite song is Carwars by Funeral Party. Hope you like it, too!

I had lots more to say but will leave it to this for now.

I finally updated the Tape Deck.  You know, my currently-listening-to section I started with the intention of updating it monthly only it takes at least 2 months for it to even occur to me to change it?  Yeah, that one.  Better late than never.  TGIF, kids.

Okay, so it’s a little much. But then again, Padma is a little too good looking, so I suppose it’s fitting.  I don’t normally eat at Carl’s Jr. but I see how I can be persuaded to now.  :)  However, the thought of how many of those things Padma had to chomp on for this commercial is dissuading any burger-reaching on my part.  =/

But, ohhhhhh, Padmaaaaa.

I’m not into taking sleeping pills but caved in tonight.  God helps those who help themselves, right?  So here I am helping myself to what I hope will be a full night’s sleep for once this week.  And here are my lullabyes.

Night, night.

SQ: Assessment Tuesday, March 24, 2009

You know what made the past weekend so good (aside from good friends and endless amounts of wine)?  It’s that I got to rest whenever I wanted to and however long I needed to. After this “assessment,” I’m collapsing to doing just that and aim to make it more of a habit than a luxury.  Also, I realized it’s in my best interests to plan trips as much as I plan out my billpay, which means more trips more often.  And last but not least, someone AMAZING was born today.

Lucky are you if you know someone this sweet and awesome.

The book I made was finally delivered to my office today.

Half of me says to bookshelf it in the garage.  The other half says to send one of the two copies I bought to the person I made the book for.  Sadly enough, coin flips and Magic 8-balls are not equipped to handle this kind of decision making.

These were the green pastures I was talking about.

The green popped back at us on the way down as it did on the way up.  My gaze was affixed to the window.  I couldn’t turn away from it.  This drills it further in to me how I need to get out of town more often.
